An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More) Horror Island, the 1941 George Waggner Universal horror murder mystery thriller ("Original Story by Alex Gottlieb"; a wacky story of a man who is hired to help a man who recently inherited an island with a castle on it, and the owner thinks there is treasure on it, and instead of hiring people to go to the island to find it, he sells tickets on a boat cruise, where the passengers get to go to the island and hunt for the treasure, but of course, they find murder as the passengers are killed off one by one, and if the movie seems similar to Agatha Christie's "Ten Little Indians", it is because it is!) starring Dick Foran, Leo Carrillo, Peggy Moran, Fuzzy Knight, Lewis Howard, Walter Catlett, Hobart Cavanaugh, John Eldredge, and Iris Adrian NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that we have only once before auctioned this title card, and it sold for $269! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has. Condition: good to very good. The top 4" was lightly partially folded over at one time. There is a 4" vertical scuff mark running down the left of Moran's image, with a 2" vertical crease to the left of that scuff.
