A 1954 Re-Release Theatrical Unfolded Half-Sheet Movie Poster (1/2sh; measures 22" x 28" [56 x 71 cm]) (Learn More) Little Caesar, the classic 1930 Mervyn LeRoy gangster mob organized crime thriller ("The power-mad monarch of the murder mobs!"; based on the novel by W.R. Burnett, and loosely based on the rise and fall of Al Capone; at the end of the movie, Edward G. Robinson says that classic line "Mother of mercy, is this the end of Rico?") starring Edward G. Robinson (in the title role as Caesar Enrico 'Rico' Bandello), Douglas Fairbanks Jr., Glenda Farrell, William Collier Jr., Sidney Blackmer, Ralph Ince, Stanley Fields, and George E. Stone. Note that this was one of the very first of the great "gangster" movies of the 1930s, and it predated Public Enemy and Scarface! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has never been folded! Some pre-1970 half-sheet posters were folded twice horizontally at the poster exchange, while some were not. It can be difficult to find an unfolded example of many pre-1970 half-sheet posters (note that most post-1970 half-sheets were NOT folded, so they are pretty much only found unfolded, and therefore this does not apply to those half-sheets). Condition: good to very good. Learn More about condition grades
