An Original Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked Three-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 41" x 81") (Learn More) Home in Oklahoma, the 1946 William Witney musical singing cowboy western starring Roy Rogers ("King of the Cowboys"), Trigger ("The smartest horse in the movies"), George 'Gabby' Hayes, Dale Evans, Bob Nolan, the Sons of the Pioneers, Ruby Dandridge (Dorothy Dandridge's mother!), and Carol Hughes. Note that Roy Rogers and Dale Evans married after filming this movie together! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: This three-sheet was printed in 2 sections. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and the restorer did a good job, but you can see signs of the restoration from inches away (since most people look at posters framed on a wall from at least a few feet away, we don't feel this is a defect, but we feel it should be noted). See below for this poster's pre-restoration condition (we are the only major auction company we know of that shares this information with our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). very good. The poster was in pretty nice condition prior to linenbacking, but there are two large circular censor stamps in the bottom corners (in the blank image background) and also a faint image of a censor stamp in the middle of the left edge of the poster (in the white background). The person who restored the poster did not touch the censor stamps (which are not very distracting and could be painted over), and the poster only had a few minor defects which were well restored.
