An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures 3 1/4" x 4" [8 x 10 cm]) (Learn More) Joseph Conrad's Lord Jim, the 1925 Victor Fleming silent adventure thriller (based on the Joseph Conrad novel) starring Percy Marmont (in the title role as Lord Jim), Shirley Mason, Noah Beery Sr., Raymond Hatton, and Duke Kahanamoku (who was a legendary Hawaiian five-time Olympic medalist and actor who is credited with popularizing the sport of surfing). Note that this movie was remade in 1965 starring Peter O'Toole in the title role. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).
