If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that movie paper from this film is incredibly rare. We have never auctioned even a single movie paper item from this movie until we were consigned this vertical British quad poster (which is a "country of origin" poster for this English movie!). Also note that few people know that in the early days of British quads, they were originally in a vertical format (but they measured 30" x 40", just as they continue to do throughout the years). This is because so few of them survive, almost surely because of the massive paper shortages in England during World War II! At some point in the 1950s, they changed orientation to be horizontal, and they have remained that way to the present day. Finally note that this is an extremely rare pre-World War II English poster! Virtually no English posters survive from the 1940s or earlier, because during World War II there were many paper shortages resulting in the destruction of almost all pre-World War II posters! Finally that this poster was folded at one time, but it has been stored flat, and because it is somewhat fragile we are not refolding it and it will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. The poster has darkening across the middle fold and some darkening, small tears and tiny paper loss in the borders.The poster is fragile, but after linenbacking it will display great and require little paint restoration within the image, except on the middle fold, if the restorer wants to address the darkening.
