An Original Vintage Theatrical Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 14" x 18 1/4") (Learn More)

The Cuckoos, the 1930 Paul Sloane Mexico romantic family relationship musical screwball crime comedy ("Radio's mammoth fun show"; a convoluted plot where Wheeler & Woolsey are petty criminals posing as fortune tellers at a Mexican resort) starring Bert Wheeler & Robert Woolsey (Wheeler & Woolsey; "World's greatest comedians"), June Clyde, Hugh Trevor, and Dorothy Lee. Note that the movie contains 20 minutes of Technicolor sequences that were thought to be lost, but were recently re-added to the movie!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that this window card has been trimmed and now measures 14" x 18 1/4". The window card originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this was commonly done with window cards, when the top had been left blank, or when someone had hand-scrawled play date information in that area). Most collectors do not consider it to be a significant defect at all, since only blank white paper is lost, and the window card becomes easier to frame.

Condition: fair to good. There was a jagged tear near the middle left of the card that went into Wheeler's hair and ear and continued across his cheek and into the bird body. Someone put clear tape on the back of that area, but it is still noticeable. There is a tape stain in the front of the middle of the left border and there is a partial horizontal crease across the middle of the card, as well as paper loss in the bottom left blank corner.
