The Rowdy, the 1921 David Kirkland silent romantic adoption inheritance melodrama ("The Universal special attraction"; a wacky story of a New England sea captain who finds a baby girl in a storm and adopts her, and she grows up to be a rough and tumble girl of the docks; she goes on board a ship and is taken prisoner by a rough captain, and he tries to rape her, but she fends him off, and he admires her spunk and grows to love her; but she learns that she is actually the heiress of a wealthy family, and she goes off to join them, and becomes a rich woman of fashion, but she realizes she would be happier in her old life; but luckily, it is discovered that she was actually the maid's child who was abandoned, so she is free to return to her lover) starring Gladys Walton, Rex De Rosselli, Anna Dodge, Charles Murphy, and Jack Mower

Important Added Info: Note that we have previously auctioned one example of this lobby card, and that example has now been reconsigned to us, so this is still the only example we have ever auctioned! Not only that, but the only other movie paper item we have auctioned from this movie is a one-sheet, and that was 9 years ago. Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: very good. Note that this card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back! We previously auctioned this card, and when the buyer reconsigned it, it acquired small creases in the bottom-left blank corner that were not there when we sold it the first time (see our image).
