An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie 8" x 11" [20 x 28 cm] Key Book Still (Learn More) Lost Horizon, the classic 1937 Frank Capra Shangri-La romantic fantasy religious mystery adventure melodrama ("Might spectacle of human emotions"; "Frank Capra's mightiest production becomes the greatest entertainment in all screen history!"; "Mightiest of all motion pictures!"; "Frank Capra's Greatest Production"; "Columbia's great Adventure of Tibet"; "James Hilton's immortal novel becomes epic entertainment!"; "From the novel by James Hilton"; "Screen Play by Robert Riskin"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; about a plane with a group of very different English passengers, including two brothers, that crash lands in the Himalayas, and they find a group of Tibetan monks who live in a peaceful paradise where everyone seems to live forever, but will they stay, or will they try to return to England?) starring Ronald Colman (as Robert Conway), ("and a notable cast" including) Jane Wyatt, John Howard (as George Conway), Margo (as Maria), Thomas Mitchell, Edward Everett Horton, Isabel Jewell, H.B. Warner (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film; as Chang), and Sam Jaffe (as the "High Lama") NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that this still is unlike almost all key book stills we have ever seen (we had a handful like this over the years, including two from 1924's "Flesh and the Devil")! Not only does it have an image of nine great still images joined together, but it also has full credits and a complete plot summary printed on the back! It is glued to a linen-like backing and it has an extra 1" on the left with two punch holes. Apparently this was something that was done beginning in 1924, and we had thought that it was a very brief experiment, but now we have seen another one from 1937, so we know it continued for at least thirteen years, but they are really incredibly rare and really cool! Condition: very good. Learn More about condition grades
