Important Added Info: Note that when Republic Pictures re-released this movie 6 years after its first release, they used the same printing plates, and printed an incredibly similar poster, but they added "A RE-RELEASE" in the background under the title. Over the years, there have been some unscrupulous individuals who have painted over this area so they could pass the poster off as a first release. However, such people usually don't know about litho numbers, and since the two posters have different litho numbers, you can still tell that the re-release has been altered by comparing those numbers. Also, the first release posters were printed using the offset method, while the re-release posters were printed using the stone litho method (which also happened for re-releases of "In Old Santa Fe"). What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had stains in the top right corner and in the left of the top border, extending down through the "ENE" of "GENE" and into the cabin below it. It otherwise had pretty minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
