Elvira Madigan, the 1943 Ake Ohberg Swedish historical romantic melodrama (about a famous female carnival performer who meets a military officer and they run away to Denmark together, which makes him a deserter) starring Eva Henning (in the title role as Elvira Madigan), Ake Ohberg, Irma Christenson, Gunnar Sjoberg, Marianna Lofgren, and Ragnar Arvedson. Note that this movie was re-made in Sweden in 1967 by Bo Widerberg, and it became a worldwide hit, although this earlier Swedish version is completely forgotten today.

Important Added Info: Note that we have provided an image of all the pages of this 4-page program (we did this by opening it and laying it flat and photographing the front and back cover together, and the interior two pages together). This way, you see the entire program, and can well determine the exact condition of it from our super-sized image. But of course this means that the front cover appears in the top right of our image, but normally, the program would be folded down the center and you would view the cover by itself (and it will be sent folded as was originally intended).
