An Original 1930 (from the first release of this movie in France) Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked French Two-Panel "Double Grande" Movie Poster (2p; measures 63" x 93" [160 x 236 cm]; printed in 2 pieces) (Learn More) Welcome Danger, the 1929 Clyde Bruckman & Malcolm St. Clair San Francisco California police drug dealers romantic crime comedy (about the shy son of a police chief who must take over his father's job, and he has to go after a gang of drug dealers, and it turns out that the gang is run by a respected businessman, but Lloyd breaks up the gang and falls in love with a girl who has been disguised as a boy) starring Harold Lloyd (in his first speaking role), Barbara Kent, Noah Young, Charles Middleton, Will Walling, Grady Sutton, and Rae Daggett NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this French two-panel measures 63" x 93" [160 x 236 cm]. Condition: very good. The poster had small paper loss at several crossfolds and tiny paper loss in the bottom part of one of the vertical foldlines. Otherwise, the poster only had minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer linenbacked the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above, but they are really not very distracting (and any restorer could easily touch them up without re-backing the poster).
