An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Mexican Movie Poster (measures 26 1/4" x 37" [67 x 94 cm]) (Learn More) Zindy, el fugitivo de los pantanos (literally translates to "Zindy, The Fugivite of the Swamps"), the 1973 Rene Cardona Jr. Mexican action adventure family melodrama starring Rene Cardona III (in the title role as Zindy; billed as "Al Coster"), Lindy Fields, Chucho-Chucho the Chimpanze, Rene Cardona, and Rene Barrera. It appears this movie was never released in the U.S. If anyone knows more about this movie, please e-mail us and we will post it here. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Mexican movie! Condition: fair to good. There is slight discoloration scattered in some areas of the poster from exposure to moisture. There are creases, defects, areas of paper loss and tears of varying lengths along parts of some edges (especially at lower right) and there is some marker cross out at lower left. This Mexican poster is EXTREMELY fragile. Mexican posters were printed on a paper stock that often ages very poorly, and also darkens. This poster has darkened somewhat and is more fragile along the foldlines (but of course, any talented restorer could linenback the poster, after which it would look great, but it might require fairly extensive restoration).
