What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. Someone trimmed off much of the blank borders. The poster had creases and tiny paper loss along parts of the folds, and some surface paper loss around the edges where pieces of tape were removed. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Learn More about condition grades
