Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster was mounted onto a thin linen with no excess (this was almost surely done soon after it was created). It has many small tears and some tiny areas of paper loss around the edges, and water stains in the lower left of the poster, with creases and tears extending into the lower left of the title area, and faint stains in the top corners that caused the poster to become rippled in that area (see our image). If I owned this cool poster, I would surely have it removed from the old linen and properly backed, after which, it will look fantastic!
