Therefore the shipping for this poster will be more than that for a poster that ships in a tube 32" or shorter, and possibly much more. Please bear this added shipping expense in mind before bidding on this poster. You can tell how long of a tube this poster needs to ship in by looking at the shorter dimension of its length and width and then adding 4" to that (so a 47" x 63" poster will need to ship in a 51" long tube). Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair to good. The poster had tiny paper loss at some crossfolds and some tiny creases and bits of surface paper loss on parts of some folds. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. Many years ago, someone backed it onto a very thin linen with no excess, and then it was roughly handled, causing lots of creases scattered throughout. It also caused tears and tiny paper loss in the upper right blank border and some separation in parts of the other borders. The poster is slightly "lifting" from the linen in a few places in the borders. The poster could certainly be removed from the thin linen and re-backed, but bear all of the above in mind before bidding on it. Learn More about condition grades
