An Original Vintage Linenbacked Magic Show Poster (measures 21" x 28" [53 x 71 cm]) (Learn More)

Master Magician and Company, the 1940s stock magic poster ("On stage - In person"; "Featuring... Floating Princess, Vanishing Motorcycle, Sawing a Lady in Half, Packing Box Escape") featuring art of a magician, his sexy assistant, and a rabbit popping out of a hat. Secondary magicians would order these posters, which had blank tops, and then they would have a local printer overprint their name and show information into that top area, which was far less expensive than producing their own posters!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Important Added Info: Note that this stock poster has information printed on the top for a magician named "Holmes", who we saw identified on the Internet as "Richard L. Holmes". But we could find no information about this person. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster was folded across the middle, with a tear near the center of that fold. It had pinholes, tears, and small paper loss around the edges and . Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
