Gorgeous with glamour!"; "It's alive with laughter and loveliness!"; "Based on a play by Lynn Root and Harry Clork"; about a shy milkman who accidentally knocks out a champion boxer when he catches him hitting on his sister. The boxer's manager sets up some fights for the milkman where all of his challengers take a dive, but the milkman thinks he's actually a good boxer and lets it go to his head) starring Danny Kaye, Virginia Mayo, Vera-Ellen, "The Goldwyn Girls", Walter Abel, Eve Arden, Steve Cochran, Fay Bainter and Lionel Stander NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: Bernard Lancy Condition: good to very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at some crossfolds and creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on large parts of some foldlines. There were areas of paper loss in the horizontal foldline that ran through the center of the word "Brooklyn". There were pinholes, creases, and tears around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the person who did the restoration did only minimal restoration to the above defects, and it the defects are still noticeable, although they are not very distracting (and any talented restorer could likely perform additional restoration to the poster without re-backing it, if the new owner of the poster desired to do so).
