Cline silent slapstick romantic love triangle comedy short ("A Paramount-Mack Sennett Comedy"; produced by Mack Sennett) starring Ben Turpin, Heinie Conklin (billed as "Charles Lynn"), Phyllis Haver, Chester Conklin, Al McKinnon, Charles Murray, and Kalla Pasha. Note that Phyllis Haver appeared in 50 Mack Sennett shorts, usually uncredited, as one of his sexy girls between 1916 (when she was 17) and 1924. She also appeared in a lesser number of feature films over the same period. In 1927, she got her big break playing Roxie Hart in the first version of Chicago, and she became a star over the next decade. But she sure paid her dues before that happened! Important Added Info: Note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). This slide is the kind that has two panes of glass that are taped together with black tape around all four edges (front and back), typical of many older glass slides. We have provided a high quality scan of the image, but we have not taken a photo of the slide, because there would really be very little to see! Condition: very good to fine.
