Auction History Result 1x0438 LOT OF 1 PICTURE SHOW OCTOBER 1932-APRIL 1933 ENGLISH MOVIE MAGAZINE BOUND VOLUME 1932-1933 Date Sold 3/20/2022 Sold For: Login or Register to see sold price. a lot of 1 bound volume featuring October 1932-April 1933 issues of Picture Show ("The paper for people who go to the pictures"), the English movie entertainment magazine published in the 1920s to the 1950s (maybe other years as well), featuring many photos and articles of popular films and movie stars! Note that the magazine was initially called "Picture Show", but at some point around 1940 it was changed to "Picture Show & Film Pictorial" and that at some later point in the 1950s, its name changed to "Picture Show and TV Mirror" (when it added coverage of TV shows). If anyone knows more about this magazine, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Note that this is one of four bound volumes of early movie magazines that we are currently auctioning, in four separate auctions. Measurements: 9" x 11"Condition: good to very good. Other than being bound into the bound volume, the issues of the magazine are in pretty nice condition (we have pictured three interior covers to give you a sense of the condition of the volume, but of course, we wish we could have pictured all the covers and the table of contents for each magazine, but time does not allow that).
