An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10" Movie Still (Learn More) The Fighting Sixty-Ninth (69th), the 1940 William Keighley World War I (WWI) New York-Irish soldiers military melodrama ("Anybody can start a fight... but here are the guys who can finish it!"; about an every-man-for-himself soldier whose selfishness leads to much cowardice) starring James Cagney, Pat O'Brien, George Brent, Jeffrey Lynn, Alan Hale Sr., Frank McHugh, Dennis Morgan, Dick Foran, William Lundigan, Guinn 'Big Boy' Williams, Henry O'Neill, and John Litel NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that a paper snipe was glued to the back of the still, and then folded over to the front. This was done rather than gluing the snipe to the back, so that the snipe could be unfolded and the still could be displayed with the snipe unfolded, which would let moviegoers read the information on the snipe in the lobby (and of course, the snipe would be folded backwards, so it would not show). This was done with many stills of the 1930s, but often, the snipes are either partially or completely lost, because it is easier for them to be torn off. UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, THE SNIPE DOES NOT HAVE ANY EFFECT ON THE FRONT OF THE STILL! Condition: very good to fine. There are faint emulsion scuffs scattered throughout the still, but they are truthfully not very noticeable except when the still is tilted to the light. Learn More about condition grades
