The Unfinished Dance, the 1947 Henry Koster ballet ballerina dancing musical melodrama ("MGM's Gorgeous Technicolor Drama!"; "Romance! Spectacle! Music!"; "Based on 'La Mort Du Cygne' by Paul Morand"; a wild story of a young ballet student who idolizes the lead dancer at her school; when she finds out a famous ballerina has been hired, she thinks it is to replace the lead dancer, and she works to sabotage the famous ballerina, and she ultimately causes her to be injured, ending her career; but over time, she becomes disenchanted with her former idol, and develops a close friendship with the famous ballerina, but is terrified the woman will learn that she ended her career) starring Margaret O'Brien, Cyd Charisse, Karin Booth, Danny Thomas (billed as "Introducing Danny Thomas"), and Esther Dale

Condition: fair. There was an extra vertical foldline 1" to the left of the regular foldline and there are creases and tears to the left of that extra foldline, both at the top crossfold (in O'Brien's dress) and at the bottom crossfold (in the title). There are many tape repairs on the back of the poster. The poster is in urgent need of expert professional restoration!
