An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded British Quad Movie Poster (BQ; Quad Crown; measures 29 7/8" x 39 7/8" [76 x 101 cm]) (Learn More) A Hard Day's Night (released in some countries as "Yeah, Yeah, Yeah"), the classic 1964 Richard Lester English rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) musical adventure screwball comedy ("The Greatest Rock & Roll Comedy Adventure"; "The Beatles in their first full-length, hilarious, action-packed film!"; "6 Brand New Songs Plus Your Beatles Favorites!") starring The Beatles (John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr), Wilfrid Brambell, Norman Rossington, John Junkin, Victor Spinetti, and Anna Quayle NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned four examples of this poster, which is a "country of origin" poster for this classic English Beatles movie. We have only auctioned one example in the past 14 years until we were consigned this fifth one! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. The poster has slight darkening on part of the right vertical fold and in the middle horizontal fold, between the center of the poster and the middle right crossfold, and also in the bottom horizontal fold, between the middle and right crossfolds. The rest of the folds have minor wear. There is some tiny surface paper loss in the two portions of the horizontal fold described above, but it is in the background next to the heads (see our image). There are yellowed tape stains in the corners. Someone removed the tape and it looks like they took a black marker to cover surface paper loss in each area. In the top corners, only the solid background was affected. In the bottom corners, it affected the orange stripe and the tiny printing at the bottom left and bottom right, but you can still see the writing, and it is easily corrected. Other than these exact defects, this rare and desirable poster is in pretty nice condition. After a relatively simple linenbacking by a talented restorer, this poster will look incredible, and it will only have restoration in the exact areas described above, and it will display wonderfully on the new owner's wall!
