Pakula prostitution mystery crime thriller ("Lots of guys swing with a call girl like Bree. One guy just wants to kill her."; "One man is missing. Two girls lie dead."; "...and someone breathing on the other end of the phone."; "...It starts with the jangle of a phone."; "Don't be afraid..."; "written by Andy and Dave Lewis"; about a guy tracking a missing friend and stumbles onto a prostitute killer, falls in love with a call girl) starring Jane Fonda (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; "you'd never take her for a call girl"), Donald Sutherland (in the title role as John Klute: "you'd never take him for a cop"), Charles Cioffi, Nathan George, Dorothy Tristan, Roy Scheider (billed as "Roy R. Scheider"), Rita Gam, and Sylvester Stallone (very young as a mere extra) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these stills measure 8" x 10 1/4". Also note that these stills appear in every way to be original U.S. release EXCEPT that there is one very tiny line of French type in the lower right of each still. It reads, "IMPRIME AUX ETATS-UNIS D'AMERIQUE". A collector has told us that he believes this means the stills were used in French speaking parts of Canada, but they were printed in the U.S., and that makes complete sense to us! So they are original stills from 1971, but they were printed for use in parts of Canada. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. Condition: good to very good. There is an embossed censor stamp at upper right in the bottom still pictured and there are some scuff marks and minor creases scattered throughout the stills. Learn More about condition grades
