A 1997 Re-Release Vintage Theatrical Linenbacked British Quad Movie Poster (BQ; Quad Crown; measures approximately 30" x 40") (Learn More)

Howard Hawks' His Girl Friday, the classic 1940 Howard Hawks newspaper journalism romantic love triangle comedy ("They're at each other's throats... when they're not in each other's arms!"; "The year's most uproarious romance!"; "I demand my rights... Life... Liberty... and the Pursuit of Rosalind Russell!"; "She learned about men from him!"; "Screen play by Charles Lederer"; "Based on a play by Ben Hecht and Charles MacArthur"; interestingly, this was a re-make of the classic 1931 newspaper movie, "The Front Page", except this movie had the very clever idea of re-casting one of the male leads as a female, and since the character in the original was named "Hildy Johnson", they were even able to keep the same name!) starring Cary Grant, Rosalind Russell, Ralph Bellamy, Gene Lockhart, Porter Hall, Marion Martin, John Qualen, Roscoe Karns, Cliff Edwards, Frank Jenks, Regis Toomey, Helen Mack, and Abner Biberman

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.
Important Added Info: Note that for this 1997 British re-release, the poster designer used a giant blow up of the best scene lobby card from the movie!

Condition: very good to fine. The poster had minor fold and border wear. Overall, the poster was in very good to fine condition prior to linenbacking (it looks like it is darkened, but actually it is the lobby card that the poster was created from that was darkened; see above). The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
