eMoviePoster.comAuction History Result ZAGANELLA IN CHINA Italian 2p 1924 great art of confused Jimmy Aubrey with Asian characters! Lease from Hershenson/Allen ArchiveAn Original Vintage Theatrical Italian Two-Panel (Learn More) Zaganella In China (literally translates to "Mockery in China"), the 1920s Italian poster for a silent slapstick Asian comedy starring Jimmy Aubrey. Note that we are uncertain which Jimmy Aubrey short this poster is promoting. He was quite prolific and not much is known about many of his films. We have found 1924 Italian newspaper theater ads promoting this movie, so we know it can't be anything after that date. Based on a plot summary, it may be promoting the 1923 short The Lobbygow (re-titled as "Zaganella in China"), but we cannot be certain. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Artist: R. Francisci
