Important Added Info: This Argentinean poster measures approximately 29" x 43" and is linenbacked. Condition: very good. This poster was linenbacked, and one of the following is true: either the poster had very minor defects, and was well backed, OR it had more significant defects, but they were well restored, OR it had some minor defects that were not completely restored, and are somewhat noticeable. You can tell which of the above is the case for this particular poster by reading our "pre-restoration" description and also by looking at our "super-sized" image of the actual poster (we are the only major auction company we know of that gives accurate detailed pre-restoration information about linenbacked posters to our bidders, but we wish everyone did!). The poster had small holes at the crossfolds. There were tears and tiny areas of paper loss across the left of the top foldline and down the top 1/4 of the vertical foldline. There was a 4" tear in the top left running through the bottom of the "U" of "U-BOAT". The poster was well linenbacked and looks nice. Note that, at some point after linenbacking, the poster was roughly handled and there are creases down the right edge of the linen. They are primarily in the extra linen border, but there are a couple of creases in the very edge of the poster's blank border. Learn More about condition grades
