Tennessee Williams' The Rose Tattoo, the 1955 Daniel Mann romantic melodrama (nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award; "Based on the play 'The Rose Tattoo' by Tennessee Williams"; about a woman whose husband dies, and she meets a man who is very similar to her lost husband, but does not match up to him) starring Burt Lancaster, Anna Magnani (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Marisa Pavan (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Ben Cooper, Virginia Grey, Jo Van Fleet (in her second movie role!), and Sandro Giglio

Important Added Info: Note that these Swiss lobby cards were created by the distributor by creating a set of identical stiff board printed backings, with a blank space for a still, and then they would attach a number of stills to a number of different boards, thus creating a set of Swiss lobby cards. Note that the board has metal grommets inserted into each corner, to make displaying of this Swiss lobby card far easier. Also note that these Swiss lobby cards measure 13" x 17 1/2" [33 x 44 cm].
