An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Desi Arnaz was an actor and singer from the 1940s to the 1980s. He was a Cuban band leader in minor 1940s movies who married Lucille Ball (who was an established star and eight years his senior) and became a superstar with TV's "I Love Lucy". In addition to appearing on the "I Love Lucy" TV show with his wife, they also made the movies "The Long, Long Trailer", and "Forever Darling". He passed away in 1986 at the age of 69. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Desi Arnaz! Also note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him).
