An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Lobby Card (LC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

The Silent Stranger, the 1924 Albert S. Rogell silent cowboy western (in this movie, Fred Thomson plays an ex-army man who is a deaf mute, so he has no dialog the entire movie, but it doesn't hurt so much because after all, it is a silent movie!) starring Fred Thomson, Hazel Keener, George Williams, Richard Headrick, and Frank Hagney. Note that star Fred Thomson was a major silent cowboy star (along with Tom Mix), but he is forgotten today, because he tragically died of tetanus just when sound movies started. Surely there should be a film biography of his life (perhaps Johnny Depp could play the lead role!). Also, note that this is a "lost" film which means that no surviving copies are thought to exist.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that we have previously auctioned this exact card twice before, and it has now been reconsigned to us again, so it is still the only example of this card we have ever auctioned! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: good to very good. Someone wrote a summary of the movie and a lot about Fred Thomson on the back in pencil (and it is pretty interesting reading; see our image). Also note that this card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
