Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Glass Slide (measures approximately 3" x 4") (Learn More) a circa late 1910s glass slide showing a few of the highest paid stars of the time, including manager of the San Francisco Giants John McGraw (who received $50,000 a year), Ty Cobb, Walter Johnson, Tris Speaker, and Grover Alexander (who all earned around $15,000 a year). I have never seen or heard of a glass slide like this before! It is great that it gives so much information and shows pictures of the baseball greats!. If anyone knows more about this, please e-mail us and we will post it here. NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline). Condition: very good to fine. There is some discoloration in the blank glass area to the left and right of the image. As is typical with older glass slides, this slide has no holder, but has black tape around all the edges of the glass. Other than the discolorati Learn More about condition grades
