Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some tiny bits of paper loss and a couple of small tears in parts of the folds. It had a few small tears and tiny paper loss in the borders. It had a 1 1/2" scratch in the lower left background area. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did little restoration to the defects described above.
