Be Honest With Yourself, the 1915 English World War I (WWI) Home Front Recruitment poster ("Be honest with yourself. Be certain that your so-called reason is not a selfish excuse -Lord Kitchener"; "Enlist to-day") encouraging men to enlist in the military, and featuring V. Soutril artwork of the silhouettes of soldiers, a cannon and an airplane. Note that this poster quotes part of Lord Kitchener's Guildhall speech in July 1915, where he urged young men to enlist and to not do so for "selfish" reasons.
