Seiter silent romantic comedy ("David Belasco's delightful comedy of bachelor life"; "From the play by John Hobble"; about a group of rich "woman haters", bachelors who have sworn off women, and they each decide to adopt an orphan from World War I, and as luck would have it, one of them gets an 18 year old beautiful girl, and of course, he falls in love with her, and he marries her despite having to pay a $5,000 "fine" to the club for marrying) starring Mae Marsh, Harry Myers, Claude Gillingwater, Claire Adams, Willard Louis, Crauford Kent (billed as "Craufurd Kent"), Georgia Woodthorpe, Otto Hoffman, Boyce Combe, and Priscilla Moran NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Important Added Info: Note that these stills were purchased directly from the estate of Claire Adams. We are auctioning other photos from her estate in this set of auctions, and will be auctioning others in future sets of auctions. Some of the photos have handwritten notes on the back, and we believe that the majority of those notes (if not all) are written by Claire Adams herself (and it seems that she wrote most of them many years after making the movies, because many of the notes are either inaccurate, or vague, the way one would write if decades had passed).
