An Original Vintage Theatrical 8" x 10 1/4" [20 x 26 cm] Movie Still (Learn More)

Robert Ames was an actor from the 1920s to the 1930s. He started in movies in 1925, and he became a leading man. He had at least four unsuccessful marriages (including three to actresses), and that drove him to drink, and he became a major alcoholic. Some of his movies include: Holiday, Three Faces East, and Smart Woman. He passed away in 1931 at the age of 42, having made two dozen films.
