An Unfolded Travel Poster (measures 25" x 40" [64 x 102 cm]) (Learn More)

United Airlines: Surf Hawaii, the circa 1960s travel poster made by United Airlines to promote travel and surfing in Hawaii urging travelers to use their airlines ("Go where the big ones are fly the friendly skies of United the Airline of sports champions."). This poster features great art of a man surfing by Otero. If anyone knows more about this poster (including the exact year), please e-mail us and we will post it here.

Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have only auctioned three in all our years of auctioning and the last time was 11 years ago! Note also that a knowledgeable travel poster collector pointed out that this is the rare version of this poster. Lani-e-kea is spelled incorrectly and the poster was pulled before it went into wide circulation.

Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded. There are two pieces of tape at top (slightly torn in those areas) and it has light creases scattered in various areas.
