She had a three-year affair with Howard Hughes but she ended the relationship because he tried to control her career. Some of her movies include: Blondie of the Follies, The Black Pirate, Kid Boots, The American Beauty, and A Notorious Affair. Billie passed away in 1997 at the age of 94. Important Added Info: Note that this canceled check has been personally autographed (signed) by Billie Dove (she signed with her married name "Billie Dove Kenaston"). It could be matted with a vintage or repro still and framed together to make a cool display! Note that our consignor has been a memorabilia dealer for the past 30 years, and he tells us that he is certain this autograph is authentic.
