An Original Vintage Theatrical Movie Title Lobby Card (LC TC; measures 11" x 14" [28 x 36 cm]) (Learn More)

Lady Tubbs, the 1935 Alan Crosland nouveau-riche-lady-posing-as-English-in-New-York high society comedy ("She smashed conventions to crash society!"; "From the novel by Homer Croy"; about a female cook at a railroad construction site who inherits half a million dollars, and then tries to pas herself off in New York City as a rich English royal!) starring Alice Brady (in the title role as Henrietta Tubbs), Douglass Montgomery, Anita Louise, June Clayworth, Alan Mowbray, Mildred Harris, Hedda Hopper, Phyllis Brooks, and Walter Brennan. Note that this movie borrowed heavily from Frank Capra/Damon Runyon's "Lady for a Day", made two years earlier.
NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography.
Important Added Info: Note that first release 1935 movie paper from this movie is incredibly rare. We have only previously auctioned a different lobby card, a pressbook, a still, and a glass slide from this movie (but no posters) until we received this lobby card! Also note that we have a scan of both the front and the back of this lobby card, which should greatly help you see what defects it has.

Condition: very good to fine. There is a tiny tack hole in each corner. Otherwise, the card is in excellent condition. Note that this lobby card is completely unrestored and there is not a single piece of tape on either the front or back!
