Barbour was an early movie paper historian of movies, especially serials and horror/sci-fi/fantasy, and he published magazines in the 1960s and 1970s that were mostly pictures of movie stills and sometimes posters and lobby cards from classic films, which in those pre-Internet days were incredibly hard to find or view in any way!
