Franz Werfel's The Song of Bernadette, the 1943 Henry King (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film) France historical religious melodrama ("From the novel by Franz Werfel"; nominated for the Best Picture Academy Award) starring Jennifer Jones (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film; in the title role as Bernadette), William Eythe, Charles Bickford (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), Vincent Price, Lee J. Cobb, Gladys Cooper (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Anne Revere (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), Marcel Dalio, Mary Anderson, and Blanche Yurka

Important Added Info: Note that for this glass slide, Norman Rockwell's signature was removed from the image, but it is clearly the same Norman Rockwell art! Also note that glass slides were designed to be put in a special projector that would project the image onto a movie screen (they use exactly the same concept as 35mm slides). We have taken a digital photo of each that shows the general condition of the overall slide and holder, and we have also made a digital scan that shows the glass image well, but does not show the holder (except as a dark outline).

Condition: very good to fine. The glass slide itself is in nice condition and the cardboard holder has some minor smudges (as can be seen in our super-sized images).
