An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Russian Movie Poster (measures 20 1/2" x 31 1/4" [52 x 79 cm]) (Learn More) Polosatyy Reys (released in English-speaking countries as "Striped Load" and "Striped Trip"), the 1961 Vladimir Fetin Russian tiger lion big cat family action adventure comedy (about several tigers, a lion, a chimp and a monkey running loose on a cruise ship) starring Aleksei Gribov, Ivan Dmitriyev, Margarita Nazarova (the famous tiger tamer), Evgeni Leonov, and Vladimir Belokurov. Note that the idea of a movie with Margarita Nazarova originated when Russian leader Nikita Khrushchev met her and wondered why she hadn't been cast in a movie yet. The movie was very well received and was the Soviet box office leader for 1961. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is a "country of origin" poster for this Russian movie! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good to very good. There are some creases and tiny tears around the edges of the poster.
