The California 500 was an Indy-style open wheel car race which began in 1970 at the Ontario Motor Speedway in Ontario, California. The last California 500 was held in 1980. After that, due to financial problems by the race operators, the speedway was purchased for real estate development by Chevron Land Company and they demolished the venue in 1981.

Important Added Info: Note that we have never auctioned an example of this poster before!

Condition: very good. The poster was never folded. It had a 1" tear near the middle of the right border and someon put a piece of tape on back of that area.
