An Original Vintage Theatrical Autographed 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm] Movie Still (Learn More) Gloria Jean was an adolescent actress from the 1940s to the 1960s. She came along at a perfect time, because Deanna Durbin was outgrowing her adolescent roles at Universal, and Gloria Jean replaced her in the same sorts of movies. She had a lot of popularity throughout the 1940s, but her career wound down in the late 1940s, and she mostly retired to raise a family. Some of her movies include: Never Give a Sucker an Even Break, The Under-Pup, and Mister Big. She passed away in 2018 at the age of 92. Important Added Info: Note that this still has been personally autographed (signed) by Gloria Jean! Note that our consignor purchased a collection of autographed stills that were collected by Leonard Sorgi, who was a unit manager for ABC for shows like The Soupy Sales Show, The Jerry Mahony Show, and many others. He was also Unit Manager for the Academy Awards for a number of years, and during his long and varied career, he met many celebrities and obtained autographs from them in person (often personalized to him). Our consignor (and we) feel certain that the autograph on this still is authentic! Also note that this still measures 8 1/4" x 10" [21 x 25 cm]. Condition: very good to fine.
