What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: good. The poster had small paper loss at the top crossfold and some separation and tiny bits of paper loss on parts of the folds. It had pinholes, tears, and tiny paper loss around the edges. Overall, the poster was in good condition prior to linenbacking. Someone mounted the poster onto a thin linen with no excess and did no restoration. It can still be displayed as it is, or one might choose to have it re-backed. Learn More about condition grades
