Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this half-sheet, which has a completely different image than the other posters from this movie! Also note that this poster has been paperbacked. What is paperbacking? This means the poster was backed onto a paper backing (acid-free), that is similar in feel to that of the original poster (except somewhat heavier). It is a similar process to linenbacking, except that most collectors use linenbacking for one-sheets and paperbacking for half-sheets, inserts, window cards, and lobby cards. Also note that because this poster was paperbacked onto a thinner paper backing, it COULD be sent rolled, but we would MUCH prefer to send it in a large flat package (because we fear that rolling it, even into a wide tube, would have an excellent change of damaging it, so we will only send it in a tube if the buyer insists, and then they would be responsible for any damage), but otherwise, we will ship it in a very large flat package, so bear that expense in mind before bidding on this poster. What IS paperbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. Prior to paperbacking, the poster was never folded. It had some tears and paper loss around the edges, with some of the tears extending into the image. It had a 5" horizontal tear near the center, near the bottom of Carroll's hair. It had a 6" tear in the middle of the left border, extending into Cooper's ear. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to paperbacking.
