An Original Vintage Theatrical Mini Window Card Movie Poster (WC; measures 8" x 14") (Learn More)

White Bondage, the 1937 Nick Grindle Depression-era Deep South poor-white-trash agriculture romantic newspaper journalism melodrama ("A vibrant drama of life, love and labor!"; about the poor sharecroppers in the Deep South in the 1930s, and about the investigative reporter who comes from the North to write a story, but ends up falling in love with one of the poor white women) starring Jean Muir, Gordon Oliver, Howard Phillips, Joe King, Harry Davenport, Virginia Brissac, Addison Richards, and Bernice Pilot. Note that the movie was greatly weakened by having next-to-no black people in the cast, and Eddie 'Rochester' Anderson, who does appear, does not even get billing!

If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know.

Condition: good. There is a mark on Muir's cheek. There is paper loss in the left corners and a repaired tear in the lower left border. The entire card has darkened somewhat. There is much writing on the back of the card, but it does not affect the front.
