An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn, the 1942 Mark Sandrich romantic love triangle musical comedy ("Lyrics and Music by Irving Berlin"; about two performers who opened a New England inn that is only open on holidays) starring Bing Crosby, Fred Astaire, Marjorie Reynolds, Virginia Dale, Walter Abel, and Louise Beavers. Note that this was the movie that introduced the Irving Berlin classic "White Christmas". It proved VERY popular, and in 1954, Paramount pretty much remade this movie as White Christmas, with Danny Kaye replacing Fred Astaire, and two new female leads, and that became an all-time Christmas classic! Important Added Info: Note that we have only auctioned six examples of this poster before, and the last time was in 2017 (and it sold for $920 in "poor to fair" condition and this example is in MUCH nicer condition!). Condition: very good. The poster has tiny separation and the tiniest of paper loss at the crossfolds, with tiny pinholes around the edges. It has very minor fold wear.
