A Bout de Souffle (released in the U.S. in 1961 as "Breathless"), the classic 1960 Jean-Luc Godard French New Wave romantic gangster crime thriller (about a small time thief who steals a car and murders a policeman, and he tries to persuade his beautiful American journalism student girlfriend to run away to Italy with him, but she has misgivings) starring Jean Seberg, Jean-Paul Belmondo, Daniel Boulanger, Jean-Pierre Melville, Henri-Jacques Huet, Liliane David, Claude Mansard, and Van Doude. Note that this movie, together with Francois Truffaut's "Les quatre cents coups" began the French "New Wave", which revolutionized film-making, not only in France, but the world over!

Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this French poster, which is a "country of origin" poster for this French movie, and that was 9 years ago, when it sold for $905! Also note that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube.

Condition: good to very good. The poster has tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and creases and a few tiny tears along parts of some folds. There are many tiny pinholes around the edges. There is a crease in the top right corner, with a small tear. Someone put some slight coloring over surface paper loss in a small part of the top of the vertical fold, in the black background area, but otherwise did no restoration.
