Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: poor to fair. The poster had small paper loss at some crossfolds and some creases, tears, and tiny paper loss on many parts of some folds. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. Unfortunately, after the poster was backed, it was very roughly handled, and it came in contact with some amount of water, because there are now many rough creases scattered down the upper half of the right side that has caused the poster to "bunch up" in some areas. Also, the exposure to moisture caused the bottom portion of the poster to "lift" considerably from the linen. Also, the poster has creases and some smudges in the lower right and it is unclear if that happened before or after backing. The poster badly needs to be removed from the damaged linen and properly re-backed, so bear all this in mind before bidding.
