Marooned on a desert island! Threatened by a gang of smugglers! TROUBLE! TROUBLE! TROUBLE!... And Jane just loves it!"; "Original story by Albert Treynor and Jeff Moffitt"; about an oil field worker who comes into a fortune and is then pushed into society by his wife) starring Jane Withers, Jean Rogers, Arthur Treacher, Robert Kellard, Eddie Collins, Andrew Tombes, Nana Bryant, and Joan Woodbury NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Condition: fair to good. This poster has been linenbacked, but it was not very well done, likely both because the restorer did not do a good job at all, and because the years since it has been linenbacked have not been kind to the poster. Overall, the poster was in fair to good condition prior to linenbacking. Generally, it had tears and areas of paper loss in the right half of the horizontal folds and a lesser amount in the other folds, with some smudges and faint stains scattered through the poster. The poster was not well backed at all, because you can still see some or all of the defects generally described above (in some cases, as should be immediately evident in our image, the linenbacker did no restoration to some of the defects), and if there was restoration of the above defects, it was not done very well. Certainly, a talented restorer could perform additional restoration (either with or without re-backing the poster), but it might be fairly expensive to have this done, so bear that in mind before you place a bid.
