An Original Vintage Theatrical Unfolded Advance One-Sheet Movie Poster (27" x 40") (Learn More) Lone Star, the 1996 John Sayles Texas cowboy western crime mystery thriller ("John Sayles invites you to return to the scene of the crime.") starring Ron Canada, Chris Cooper, Clifton James, Kris Kristofferson, Frances McDormand, Joe Morton, Elizabeth Pena, and Matthew McConaughey NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster was never machine folded. Most movie posters from before 1980 were machine folded immediately after printing. After 1980, it quickly became standard for posters to never be folded, and were shipped to theaters rolled in tubes. But this made it far more likely for posters to pick up minor (or major) defects, and it can be difficult to find an unfolded poster from the 1980s in excellent condition. Also note that this is an advance one-sheet (note the "At Theatres Soon" at the bottom of the poster). Condition: good to very good. The poster was never folded, but there are three unevenly spaced horizontal creases where the poster was lightly folded by hand (one is near the top, one is near the bottom, and one is near the middle). There are some creases along those light folds, and some creases and scuffs throughout the poster. Learn More about condition grades
